-------------------------------------------------------------- I'm running and not quite sure where to go -------------------------------------------------------------- Green, red, pink, yellow. In every spot, there was a color and those colors made up an appearance of a garden. Benches were here and there to see the views, and trees were provided for shades. On one of the benches, a girl with long purple hair sat, feeling the cool wind surrounding her. Her eyes were closed, her hair softly embracing her face, flowing around smoothly. The atmosphere was soothing as she smiled, forgetting her worries and her responsibilities. There's nothing like a quiet afternoon to just spend time alone, she thought to herself as she began to gather her thoughts privately. It was such a rare moment that she had without anyone talking to her or intruding in her privacy. Sure, she enjoyed being sociable and helping people, but sometimes, it was a bit too much for her to bear. Still, she kept quiet about the burden since she didn't want to let anyone worry about her.
Opening her eyes slowly, she looked at the garden fondly. "Those flowers couldn't possibly be any more beautiful, neh Masaaki?" Xena smiled as she spoke gently. Silence responded her. Panicking, she stood up, looking frantically for him. Where did he go? Surely he was with her throughout the entire time. Wasn't he just here? Last time I remember being with him was...
A sudden realization came to her. Xena paled as she began to run around to find her butler. She had left him by accident, caught up in the beauty of the plants that she completely went off without him. More so, she didn't have a clear sense of direction. Each path she took was different, and soon, nothing seemed to look familiar to the route that she had originally taken. Xena tried to trace her steps back to the bench. She was so caught up in her running that she didn't notice a rock until she tripped over it. "Why am I always falling when I'm looking for someone?" she muttered as she lifted herself back up. Ignoring the small cut on her hand, she continued to search for Masaaki. After a few minutes, Xena stopped by a tree to catch her breath. Where was he? Will he be able to find her? Where could he possibly be looking for her at? Biting her lower lip, she had a worried look on her face until she got an idea. Taking a deep breath, she yelled, "MASAAKI!" In her heart, she could only hope that he was nearby to hear her. Where do I head to as I repeat the many Ceaseless encounters and partings? ----------------------------------- An endless blending of multiple colors, naturally bringing out the supreme beauty that is the garden of Stella Fiore. It was expected for such an exquisite school to have such a grand view; although, Masaaki did miss the garden he had back at home. Still, such a view was a good substitute, for he still had no real intention to returning to that kind of life yet. He truly did love visiting the school gardens, yet right now wasn’t the best time to actually be enjoying one’s self amongst its splendor. Right now, the young Japanese butler had more pressing matters to attend to, involving a very careless girl with no sense of direction whatsoever. Who gets lost in the school garden anyway? Apparently she can.
“Iliescu-san~!” he cried out as he roamed through the rather large area of nature, not really knowing where his lady had gone off to. It wasn’t the first time something like this ever happened, nor did he believe this would be the last. Either way, it always worried him whenever she would just disappear from his sight. To think what was supposed to be a simple day of enjoying nature’s beauty turned into another unintentional game of hide and seek. Still, if he didn’t know his way around the garden, things would definitely be harder. The only real concern was how far in she was in there. Sadly, she was a little too good at getting lost, at times the male taking hours just to finally find where she was. Doko ni iru no, Kay-chan (Where are you, Kay-chan)!? he though with a certain worried expression on his face, hoping it won’t come to that.
A little further in now, the male with still no clue on where she was at. Knowing her, she was also roaming around trying to look for him, perhaps even feeling a little panicky for losing her own butler. Masaaki knew her a little too well anyway, especially since the two of them had been together for a while now. Even tough he acted rather professionally as her butler, he treated her like family in a sense, especially since the two of them were rather similar in some ways. And like an older brother looking for his missing younger sister, he was determined to find her even if it would take all day. Taking in another deep breath, he was ready to shout out for her again, yet he found himself swallowing his words when he heard a familiar voice cry out. With no hesitation he ran to where the voice was, as if following an invisible trail that lead him to her. Cutting through a few corners and bushes, he manage to find his way to her, also noticing that she had hurt herself as usually. He let out a deep sigh of relief as he placed on his against his forehead while bangs flow through his fingers,, his eye looking at his rather clumsy mistress. “Mataku (Geez)…You really should stop getting lost, Iliescu-san.” ----------------------------------- Please just leave behind your Footprints in the changing world.

------------------------------------------------- Days go by and I grow stronger It takes time, but I'll never let go------------------------------------------------- ”Gomen, Taka,” Xena grinned sheepishly as she walked toward him. She was only relieved that he had found her within minutes rather than hours where she would stand in the dark, afraid to move or even do anything. She didn’t have a fear of the dark, but she was always so paranoid that someone might just come out and take her by force. ”I just couldn’t help it though. I saw a really pretty flower and I just wanted to see it.” Of course, every time she had gone lost was because she was distracted by a pretty object. Either that or she had been too caught up in her own thoughts that she never kept track of where she was going. It was simply easier to say that she flowed with the wind, going wherever her heart desired. Still, it wasn’t suitable for a lady, and her dad had reprimanded her many times to stay still. Speaking of her dad, Xena wondered what he was doing, and if he was even worried about her. Wherever he is, I’m sure he’s happy, she thought with a sad expression. Her thoughts lingered off then she realized that she was in front of Masaaki.
With a bright smile, she faced her butler, eager to spend the rest of the day in the garden. ”Let’s go see the garden again, Taka nii-san. This time, I promise I won’t wander around and get lost.” She grabbed his arm and started to drag him wherever she wanted to. She knew that most would find her behavior to be odd, and she knew when to act like a proper lady in front of people. But whenever the two were alone, she never failed to be casual and carefree around him. Even though they were lady and butler, he was more like an older brother to her. He was more like a family to her than anyone else, including her father. She actually felt better calling him nii-san instead of Masaaki.
Her dad had been neglecting her for years now, just focusing on his work and other women. Like a good girl, she obeyed her father’s every command, treated the women that he brought home with respect, and studied hard. But she had longed for affection from someone, one who treated her like a family. Her mom had shown plenty of affection, but as soon as she was gone, everything else was as well. It was only a miracle that her dad had decided to send her off and here she was, with her most favorite person in the world. Nothing could possibly be better than what she had for the past two years, and this was her 3rd year. Thinking of her age, she bit her lips, knowing that she would have to leave him eventually. Will I be able to leave him when the time comes? This thought had always occurred in her mind, causing her to worry. Still, the time was still a bit far away, so she brushed it to the back of her mind, enjoying the most of the present.
”Nii-san. Aren’t the flowers pretty? The way they move with the wind, it’s almost like they’re dancing to a music that we cannot hear,” Xena knelt down next to a swaying flower with a pure smile playing on her lips. She gently touched the petals, feeling the smooth structure between her fingers, admiring its color. It truly was nature’s beauty that could never be replaced by anything or even replayed again.

Where do I head to as I repeat the many Ceaseless encounters and partings? ----------------------------------- “Hai hai. I’m well aware that you can’t resist something so beautiful, he said a little sarcastically while heaving out another sigh. A miracle that he found her? Perhaps it was. Either way, he was with his lady again now, the male somewhat angry at her though for just walking off like that. She also just got herself hurt wandering around, some scrapes and scratches on her delicate skin whilst her clothes a little dirtied now from the soil. Someday, he might even get a heart attack by worrying about her too much. Still, it’s that kind of carefree personality she had that he admired about her, though he wishes that she would at least learn to take care of herself more properly. She was such a lovely young lady after all, and he could not bear to see a girl like her have a scratch of two on her body.
Just how long has it been since they were paired up with one another? Two years almost three if he recalled correctly. Yet even if it had been that long, it seemed like they were together longer than that. Sibling-like bonds are rather miraculous indeed since such a strong connection is established between the two originally unrelated individuals. Two years is still a very long time to spend with a person, yet it was also a fact that this one was also going to be the last. It was a painful thought really knowing that he would have to part ways with someone he had grown rather fond of. What seemed like endless days back then was going to eventually come to a conclusion. With that in mind, Masaaki would simply have to make do with the remaining time he would have left with his ‘imouto’. Either way, his time to leave Italy was also going to come eventually.
“O-Oi! No need to drag me around,” he suddenly spoke as she grabbed him by the arm, prompting him to follow her around like always as she went back to her garden viewing. A small smile curled on his lips as he went along with her little stroll, a sense of happiness filling him up. Even if there was going to be a time the two of them were going to part ways, he did not need to think about it now. Around his lady, worrying about such things was not supposed to be appropriate. That and it would ruin the overall mood they were supposed to have in such a splendid garden. In there, sadness had no place at the moment. Right now, he needed to throw away all those feelings weighing him down in order to properly serve the young woman in front of him.
Masaaki nodded his head in agreement as he looked down at the flowers she was glancing at, recognizing the beautiful piece of nature sprouting from the ground.“It certainly is a masterpiece of mother nature,” he said as he kept him eye mostly on her, those wounds she got earlier bothering him a little. It would be nice if she could get a little cleaned up, but since there wasn’t many people around, he thought it would be alright until they get back to their room. He took out some bandages he carried with himself, already used to having the stuff with him knowing Xena’s nature of getting hurt easily, “Lets get those wounds of your tended, shall we?” ----------------------------------- Please just leave behind your Footprints in the changing world.

-------------------------------------------------------------- Young, independent, yeah she work hard But you can’t tell from the way that she walk-------------------------------------------------------------- Xena sighed to herself in relief that he agreed. Not many people really cared about these things, and most probably just looked at it once then never again. She continued to gazed lovingly at the flower, a part of her heart aching that this could possibly be the last time she saw the flower. Everything will come to an end, and it was just a part of life. Embracing this acceptance, she gently pulled at a petal, staring at its dull color until it finally broke off. It didn’t have the same resemblance as it did before, but to her, it looked more alive than ever. To her, no matter what the change is, if it’s better, then it must be done. Of course, it pained her to break it off from its ‘family’ but eventually things will be cut off ‘for the better’.
Hearing his voice brought her back to their situation. Xena looked down at her hand, seeing the cut red, although the blood had dried. She would have loved to just take care of it back in their room, but she knew that if people saw it, Masaaki would be looked down upon slightly for not taking care of his lady. It was just the ‘proper’ thing to do at the academy, making her crinkle her face in disgust. It was such a small cut, yet it was possible to make the difference. Still, she wasn’t going to act proper in every minute of her life. That just takes away her fun with the rules and limitations. Responsibilities were just a burden sometimes, necessary for her to uphold, but troublesome to do. Still, it was her duty to be a lady, and she might as well act like one until she’s allowed to be within her own comfort zone, away from society.
”Hai!” Xena stood up hastily, causing herself to be dizzy for the first few seconds. She laughed as she extended her hand to him, muttering, ”Silly me. I should’ve known better.” Of course, she should’ve taken her time getting up. She should’ve taken care of herself almost immediately instead of delaying. She knew how Masaaki could get whenever he was worried about her. It made her feel bad that he always did worry, so she tried to tame herself. But she always end up forgetting about her self-promise and causing more trouble. ”I’ll just put a bandage on for now,” she emphasized on the ‘I’, not wanting him to do every little thing. The idea of having a butler do everything just annoyed her to death because it made her seem like she was fully dependent on someone when she was at least able to take care of minor details. Well, things that she considered minor.
”Nii-san. Is there anything that you would like to eat today for dinner?” Xena looked at him with innocent eyes, hoping that he would give in to letting her cook today. It was always a joy for her to cook for anyone. Not to say that she wasn’t happy with his food. She loved it, but sometimes, she just loved for him to take a break after taking care of her for so long. She didn’t mind it whenever they cooked together since they always had fun. Yet… today, she just wanted him to take a break after him running around just to look for her.

Where do I head to as I repeat the many Ceaseless encounters and partings? ----------------------------------- Wounds…how he dreaded such things. Not to sound vain and all, but Masaaki just hated anything and everything that would potentially ruin beauty, even of his own. Perhaps one of the good things he had learned while growing up was to take care of his complexion, especially considering the nature of his supposed future profession. Still, he was rather hesitant in going through with the family occupation, even though he was rather proud of his heritage. Its not like he wanted to inherit most of the features of his mother, but his elder sibling already stole away his father’s genes for himself. Sometime beauty can result into negative things, such as being raised oppositely of one’s gender. It was a burden he had trouble bearing as he grew up, and now that he was in a different country, he had a chance to shape himself up more as a man. Of course, even that wasn’t as easy considering most of the stuff have already assimilated into his behavior.
As for her, he wanted to really take care of those small injuries for her, just like a good servant should. They may consider one another like brother and sister, but in the academy, he still had the obligation to act professionally in front of his lady. As long as the title ‘butler’ was attached to him, he still needed to play such a part. It was also a fact that he was a professional actor and stage performer to be anyway though the role would probably turned to ‘maid’ instead considering his circumstance. As good as an actor he was though, his lady Xena had other things in mind, the girl wanting to take the bandages from him and applying them herself as to not trouble the servant any longer than she has. Even if he still had his duty, Masaaki just smiled while handing some of the small bandages for her to use on those injuries. “My lady sure is being independent today,” he teased before letting out a small chuckle from his mouth. He felt proud that she was at least trying to help herself, despite the fact that he was there to help her.
“You’re cooking?” he said while giving her a certain look at her hearing her say that she was going to cook their food instead, a little touched that she was giving him some consideration. His lady was always so kind enough to try giving him a break when she believes he’s already done a lot for her, Masaaki not really sure how he would respond to it. It was never easy declining her offers anyway, but he still felt she shouldn’t work so hard for his sake when it was not her duty. He cross one arm across his chest while holding up the other arm such that he can place his hand upon his chin, going into a pondering stance as he tried to think of anything good. Lately, they’ve been eating a lot of Italian dishes, and in all honesty, Masaaki was feeling homesick for some good Japanese food. Still, he really did not want to trouble her over something like that, just shrugging his shoulders instead as he spoke, “Well, whatever you are good at cooking I guess. I’m fine either way.” Sure he was lying a bit, but he thought something she was good at would be best. ----------------------------------- Please just leave behind your Footprints in the changing world.

--------------------------------------------- Staring right back in the face A memory can't be erased--------------------------------------------- Xena playfully stuck her tongue out at him. "There's nothing wrong with being independent," she responded with a silly grin. She took the bandages and began to apply them to her wounds on her hand, covering them securely to avoid getting infections. After she was finished, she held her hand out in front of her, smiling at the neatness. Looking up at his face, she asked, "Is there anything wrong with me cooking? I just think that it would be a nice change." Never will she admit that she wanted to do it because she thought he needed a break. Xena knew very well that he would be stubborn and insists on doing it if she gave out that reason. Of course, she was fully aware that he knew her main reason, but he couldn't fight against her if she never mentioned it.
She stared at him as he got into the pondering stance, knowing exactly what he was thinking. "I know you want something, Masaaki. I wish for you to tell me what you want." It wasn't really a demand, but it wasn't a request either. She wasn't mean to just demand something, but her tone had a clear feeling of 'tell-me-or-else'. She wasn't one to threaten, although she knew that they would end up eating the same cultural food. Thinking of those dishes, she felt a bit sick to the stomach. Where was the good variety of other cultures? Well, that's what she would have to cook. Something of her own culture, which would be Japanese. Although she was part Romanian, she never really had much to do with her culture, so she considered herself as Japanese.
Just in case he doesn't ask for something, Xena decided to just think of what she could cook. She began to stroll around the garden, trying to think of what she could possibly cook. Something that wasn't really exquisite. Maybe some sort of hot pot, like sukiyaki or oden. Just the thought of it made her mouth water slightly. She remembered the first time she had cooked for her mom, it had come out horrible. Still, her mother had eaten the whole thing to make her happier, and even then, they were laughing about the whole thing. She had learned how to cook properly from all her experiments, which the results always improved. Although, there were still room for improvements, Xena was fairly content with her level of cooking. It wasn't one of the best, but it was at least well enough.
Then she began to reminisce back to her first time cooking instead of her butler. It was just curry since she was getting sick of Italian dishes, but she clearly remembered seeing the surprised look on his face when he saw her cooking instead of him. It wasn't easy getting a hold of the curry sauce, but it was worth the trouble. She felt herself being more energetic with a familiar food in her system, causing her to be happier. Of course, she had apologized for just taking his duty away, but she forewarned him that she sometimes will do the cooking to fill in the cravings that she occasionally had.
Xena faced back to reality, finally deciding of what she wanted to make. With a smile, she stopped walking and turned around to face him. "Have you decided yet?" If not, she was going to make curry again.

Where do I head to as I repeat the many Ceaseless encounters and partings? ----------------------------------- There was something about that day that was making it a little special, at least in Masaaki’s mind anyway. His lady offering to cook in his stead was something rather rare, and he was indeed curious on how well she could do. She did seem like the type who had some skill in the culinary arts, and he could recall she always managed to do decently in those classes. If that's the case, there's no harm in allowing her to prepare tonight’s dinner, no? It was an interesting thought in itself, one of which he would like to see first hand what she could be capable of. Still, just what was it she was good at cooking anyway? Sadly, he probably wasn’t going to find out.
Apparently, Masaaki was not going to get off the hook that easily, his young lady insisting that he tell her just what it was she wanted her to cook for their dinner. Homesickness aside, it did not matter to him much what they would eat since all he really cared about was the taste. His tongue was not particularly picky with hat he ate, and even if he did eat lots, his metabolism was quick enough to help him maintain his slim figure. So was it really necessary for him to say he wanted to eat some Japanese food? Not really, and yet she put him in a certain position where he would probably have no choice but to give an appropriate answer. Even if the tone she used wasn’t commanding enough, there was still something behind it that made it sound a little threatening, the male’s right eye twitching slightly before he let a deep sigh out whilst giving into her question.
“Something Japanese would be nice,” he said, really wanting to relive eating those cultural dishes. In all honesty, any dish from there would have sufficed as long as it would taste in a way that would make him feel he had been brought back home. Something with seafood was one thing he was craving for, still missing the original taste of homemade sushi and sashimi, together with some miso soup, deep fried tempura, and of course, the Japanese sticky rice. Even if it really was his own decision to stay behind in Italia for his own personal benefit, there were times he was back at that traditional manor while having all those things. Just for one day, he would really like it if he could do a little happy reminiscing of home. It would really be nice if his little imouto could pull that kind of effect on him, but he wasn’t expecting too much from her. As long as it tasted right, he was fine with that.
He looked at her again, wondering what kind of dishes might be going on in her mind right now, not really sure what she would decide to cook up for him. His answer was still a little broad, but at least she had a certain theme to watch out for, meaning anything and everything she would cook has to be along the lines of Japanese cuisine. He knew very well that she was only part Japanese, so he wasn’t sure on the amount of knowledge she had when it comes to those dishes. Of course, if she would need some help, he would be glad to assist since cooking was really supposed to be his job. She was rather stubborn though, so her asking for help may not happen even if she might be having some difficulty. It that were to be the case, he was more than prepared enough to clean up any big mess she would create, not that he didn’t have confidence in her. It’s not a sin to be a little cautious after all. ----------------------------------- Please just leave behind your Footprints in the changing world.

----------------------------------------------------------- On angel's winds, an angelical formation Angel's wings, like letters in the sky----------------------------------------------------------- Something Japanese, hm?
Least he narrowed it down to a culture, and a culture that she was the most familiar with. For sure, she’ll have to make rice and some side dishes. Soup? Definitely. She’ll probably end up bringing the entire cultural feeling to the table, even for a moment. With a grin, Xena looked up at the sky as she wondered if she should ask him to cook with her. But remembering her previous decision to just let him completely rest, she threw out the idea. Besides, she wanted the whole thing to be a surprise for him, so he must be completely out of the kitchen. With the meal menu out of the way and the sun still out, indicating the large amount of time she had before she has to go cook, she decided to play a small game. ”Let’s play a game, nii-san~” Xena suggested. What game would it be? The perfect game was already in mind, although she had no idea of his reaction to it. Still, there has to be a time for fun. ”Let’s play a game of hide and seek!” She knew that it was going to be a bit troublesome since she tends to get lost or hurt, but this time, she was determined to not do either. Besides, even if she does get lost, it makes the game more fun. She turned around a corner and just started to roam around, seeking for a hiding place when she heard a small chirp. It was faint, but she stopped in her tracks, trying to find out where it was coming from. There was another chirp and this time, she was certain that it was up ahead, which made her legs move as if it was a life or death situation. The chirping got louder and louder until she found that it was fading away again. Kicking herself mentally, she slid to a stop and turned around, this time walking and watching carefully. As she was searching, she noticed something at the corner of her eye. Something brown and a small blur. Xena focused her attention on this object where she found a bird, trying to fly. Yet, she saw one of its wings, crooked and bent in an awkward fashion. Seeing the poor creature brought tears to her eyes, and Xena moved gracefully to the bird, kneeling down slowly. ”You poor thing…” She muttered close to it, stroking its head. She already knew what she was going to do. Nurse it back till its wing was fixed and fit to fly again. Cupping her hands, she watched as it climbed inside, obviously trusting her. With a sympathetic smile, Xena stood up and began to look for her butler. ”Masaaki,” she called out urgently. It might be a burden for her or Masaaki to take care of the bird, but in her heart, she just couldn’t let the poor animal stay there and die whether it was by starvation, or something else. In general, she just couldn’t leave any helpless living things alone without offering her assistance. With a deep sigh, she mumbled, ”I’ll fix your wing.” It cocked its head toward her as if it knew what she was saying and she smiled as she knew what her mind was set upon. She was going to help this little thing heal. Where do I head to as I repeat the many Ceaseless encounters and partings? ----------------------------------- Honestly, he really wanted to know what she was planning on cooking for him now, Masaaki noticing the look she had on her face as if she was thinking a bit. He was hoping she would not try preparing something too grand, just something simple enough to for him to enjoy for the night. He still did not want her to feel obliged to make some dishes for his sake, especially since it would be as if their roles were being reversed for that day. Not that it was a bad things, but he just did not really like the feeling of being pampered and all. He had already gotten enough of that back at home, one of the things he personally wanted to escape from since he found such a life rather boring. That still didn’t erase the fact that she was going to let him relax today.
He raised a brow when she mentioned a game, not really sure what she was planning again. It this really the time to be playing games? was the first thing that came to mind, at least before she said the kind of game she wanted to play. His eyes widened a bit when she made it clear what game it was, extremely reluctant to play that game with her. “Oi! Anything but that!” he exclaimed whilst she dashed off once again into the garden, a very deep sigh being released from his lips as he suddenly had a bad feeling about it. Seriously, a girl with absolutely no sense of direction wanting to play a game of ‘hide and seek’? She must be absolutely nuts to suggest such a thing, especially considering she had just gotten herself lost earlier, with him needing to search for her. If she wanted to put him through that again, he might as well just leave here in there to teach her a lesson…but really, there was no way he could actually allow himself to do such a cruel thing to her. Resigning to this new task he had to take, he went off to once again search for his little lady.
Quickly following after her as soon as she dashed off, he honestly wasn’t sure where she intended to go anyway. He was a little too late in keeping track of her movements, apparently already being hidden away in this natural maze. This was probably going to be the start of a very long day, probably wondering if all this would really be worth the rest he would be taking later once he was done finding her. His eyes continued to scope around the perimeter like an eagle looking for its prey, the male wanting to finish this as soon as possible and probably take a nice long shower later. Being around the garden was nice and all, but he definitely hated getting himself dirty and sweaty. It was…’unbutler-like’ in his opinion since he knew he needed to make sure he kept a clean and tidy appearance wherever he went. His long deep violet hair was already a big messy with all the moving around he did, and now it was just going to get worse since they were playing a game now. If she wasn’t going to let herself get found, all the more he was going to be troubled.
At least until he heard her voice come from somewhere…He blinked a little while making his way to where he heard her voice come from, wondering just why she’d let him know where she was. ----------------------------------- Please just leave behind your Footprints in the changing world.
