As it turns out, Fallacieux really did end up purchasing a house in a field of flowers. He chose a plot of land in the Italian countryside, the farthest away from France he could get, and in the spring, he watched charming yellow blossoms rising up from the prairie, and he decided that was where he’d live. The house was small but it was his, and inside on the walls, he strung up lines and lines of photographs. Most of them were photographs of the sky.
