As alluring and inviting as the siren may be, make no mistake Vera is not a coy little princess that'll complain because of a pea beneath her mattress. A proud, business oriented woman, Vera quickly rose to prominence as the public's chosen leader for the Children of Moses; her personable, fiery nature made her the perfect spokeswoman for humanity. Her rebellion, however, did not last long, much to her self-loathing. While Bryan arranged matters with the angels, Vera did her best to contact every Child and convince every human and nephil to migrate to the Underground. Of course, she couldn't get to everyone; the shame of her own failure has made her more bitter and more determined than ever to dispel the demons --and angels-- from Earth. Vera's lack of patience, short fuse, and belligerent ways do nothing, but compound her distaste for the angels that seem to do nothing but wait for some holy light to fly down from heaven, but she needs them to defeat the more pressing enemy so she tries to show them same chivalry normally saved for her brethren.
