The tone Oisin used made Josh wince, but he just shrugged in return. The awkward minutes within the room had taught him a lesson thought. A serious, frowning Oisin was more annoying than the normal one. Not to mention it made him feel worse than the normal one. So, note to self: don't use ex-wife jokes with his uncle. Dually noted. Done with that.
"'You comin' or what?" he grunted back to the curly-haired man, casting one of his signature glares back at him as well. Maybe this was his attempt to make up for his (deserved) retort earlier. Quality time with dear ol' uncle Oisin. Sounded magnificent. Life was great. All that good shit.
And he was out of the room, pulling a pack of smokes out of his pocket and ready to light it up. Walking down the hall. He didn't care. Nobody was there right now. Knowing his luck some bratty kids would complain about the smell later. Maybe he should do it to pester the spoiled little ladies. He paused as he brought the cigarette to his lips with the lighter at the tip before going right on ahead and lighting it and taking a nice long drag. He exhaled the smoke and felt better already.
Without really thinking about it he pulled another cigarette out of his pocket and offered it to Oisin for when he finally caught up. Which would be any second now, so it would probably be perfectly timed. Smooth as usual. He acted casual as he sort of had been the whole time and now that he had a cancer stick between his lips he felt quite a bit more at ease. Not to mention walking would make it easier to converse with Oisin and tolerate him. That was always a good thing.

He pretty much just bounced out of his seat to follow off behind his nephew. Now, he was content and actually quite happy that Josh didn’t just get up and leave, but actually offered to go somewhere with him. It was probably just going to be a quick stroll around the Academy, but at least it was something… right? He paused for a moment as he glanced at the room before shutting the door. Really, he doubted he could forget the awkward moment between the two. At least, he was actually stepping away from the murder scene.
Exhaling, he perked up when Josh spoke to him… pretty much without even looking at him, but he didn’t have to. Oisin gave a slight nod and let a smile take to his lips once more. He took a few longer strides just to reach up to Josh. and as always, Josh had perfect timing and passed him a cigarette as soon as he did catch up. Taking the offered cig, he dug through his pant pocket and pulled out his ever so fancy diamond black and silver lighter and lit the cancer stick. “Thanks,” he muffled with the cigarette between his lips before exhaling the smoke and moving it away for a moment.
“Have you found any new people to hire as guards yet?” He questioned with quite the serious look on his face. It was business, but he also wanted to know just for his own sneaking benefits.
ooc: - fff... sorry it's so short and choppy.

Josh grumbled his response to the thanks he got from his uncle for the cigarette, not saying much else. Until he was asked a question. Oisin was great at switching the tone of conversation... whereas Josh always sounded serious or irritated. But it wasn't a problem for him to start talking about his job and how he hadn't had any luck with finding any guard applicants yet. “Naw, not yet.” The response was a lot more simple than his thought process. He didn't feel like bitching about his terrible luck because that would simply require too much effort.
He exhaled some more smoke as his mind wandered quickly away from the conversation and he fell completely silent once more. Yea. He was great at talking, couldn't you tell? He was beginning to think he couldn't humor Oisin like he had wanted to. Oh well. The man would keep on talking if he wanted to; Josh wasn't giving any harsh signals that he didn't want to talk or anything. He was unreadable right now which was a good hint that he didn't mind the company anymore. Just so long as the older man didn't do anything annoying.
OOC: Yer post was fine. <3 Mine sucks. xD -loves this table so much-

His brow rose with slight interest in what his nephew could possibly say… there were only two choices; “yes” and “no”. Or Josh could be magical and add in a third choice! “I dunno.” Oisin was the greatest being on Earth to ask the best questions to which he pretty much already knew the answer too! Yay him…! Of course, instead of a straight answer… Josh added slang to the whole business. Oisin just stared at him for a moment before letting out a muffled sigh as if he was disappointed. In truth, all his actions usually didn’t reflect what he thought, but more on him wanting to tease the poor guy. “Really… your antisocial ways worry me, Joshie,” part one of nickname added… which pretty much told the world that Oisin was in quite a good mood after all that had happened. He was better with all the awkward and ex-wife talk behind for sure.
Truly, Oisin was trying to decide whether it was time to run away or not… things were back on the same page as always, but he was running out of things to say. Exhaling, he relaxed down a bit and even started to drag his feet as usual. He glanced over towards Josh for a moment before changing his attention over towards the clock. It wasn’t like he liked doing his job or anything, but sometimes he really did need an excuse. Poor Josh had to put up with Oisin until he decided to flee. Slightly deep in thought about it all, he paused for a moment as the bell rung for the first time today. Nodding his head, he stepped up towards Josh again. “I guess I should get going, my darling Joshie-poo. As sad as I know you are with my disappearance, please don’t feel too depressed… m’kay?” he reached over after his little goodbye and gave him a kiss on the cheek and a wave before strolling off towards his office. Oh how he wished he could have stayed for Josh’s reaction.
ooc: - weird post is super weird... but works.

[bg=9d865d][atrb=width,500,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true] He couldn't help but wince as his braincells died at every new way Oisin found to say "Josh". He let out a quiet growl as a hint for him to shut up, but knowing him he probably wouldn't. What could you do? Josh could be a big dick but he could never be cruel enough to just out and out say he hated the man. It was terribly sad that the closest thing he had to a friend was the one person he really couldn't stand the most. That said a lot about the shitty world. But in a way, he was thankful he head Oisin, otherwise he'd be an even angrier man. The Irishman did manage to socialize Joshua just enough for him to be semi-nice and just social enough to do his job.
They kept on walking right up until the bell rang, which made the poor blonde jump slightly but he casually acted like he hadn't jumped at all. Glancing at Oisin, he plucked the cigarette from his own lips just in time to hear him begin to talk. Again. But at least this time he was leaving. Thank god. He didn't know if he could handle hearing him butcher his name anymore.
“Yea, yea. Get lo--” Josh started to say before he stopped suddenly at the kiss he received. And he stood there for a few seconds with a blush heating up his cheeks before he looked and saw Oisin's fleeting shadow disappearing. Twitching slightly, Josh made no more sounds as he dropped the cigarette on the floor and smashed it with the heel of his shoe. And with that, a very confused, and unhappy, head guard quickly fled to his own office.
