I don't know what words I can say,, the wind has a way to talk to me. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A soft sigh erupted from the small pink mouth of Lilith Mary Rosenthall while she perched inside a comfortable bench located in the depths of Salesina Lake, first year lady and rightful heir of the Rosenthall family. Four hours of wandering through its beautiful garden while awaiting her butler of choice came to introduce himself soon became boring only after the first hour, soon giving up the idea he was ever going to come. Despite her disappointed and agitated mood, she still remained in the garden and sat in the first bench she found - amusing herself by tearing small pieces of flowers by their petals, plucking them in fluent motions and dropping them to the grass below. "Not even a week spent here and I already hate this place, I hate everyone here . . .", spoke the spiteful lady in a somber tone, gnawing gently upon her lower lip to ease the small sting of feeling misplaced. There wasn't anyone here she could relate to and every female attending the school only cared for their butler, imagining them as sort some of playtoy for them to manipulate until they graduate or grow bored of them. The young romanian girl felt her lips curl with a most distasteful sneer from just thinking over it, wondering how much abuse butlers must face in order for them to be seen as true manservant’s.
In life, Lilith was granted whatever her heart demanded; clothes, jewelry, and global vacations yet never gave what a person really desired - something money couldn't give. Love, friendship, and honesty. Her parents tried their best to facade their love for their only, spoiled little daughter by showering her with gifts before departing together for vacations for several months. Leaving her behind with nothing but newly given toys and many house maids, no play mates or friends to keep her company in such a large and empty castle. Whenever they managed to return all they would do was throw parties for many of their friends, drowning themselves in attention and glory while preparing many fixed marriages for Lilith. After spending so much money, they needed another scheme to intake more without lifting a finger and soon targeted their daughter to become the bride of very wealthy gentlemen. Anyone her age who had the chance to encounter the young Romanian only desired her fortune or glamorous wares, soon growing bored and even frightened of her aloof nature. Even now coming the age of eighteen she can barely name anyone to claim as her friends but had a few, often visiting them whenever she could despite her long distance away from Romania.
Suddenly, as if heaven sent to break the young girl away from such saddening thoughts, a small kitten emerged from a bundle of wild rose bushes; mewling and gazing into the eyes of Lilith. It's pitch black fur and bright green eyes immeadetly ensnared the lady's heart as a small smile began to grow but didn't dare move in fear of scaring it away. "What do you want?" She spoke to the kitten in a half passionate question, rubbing a pale hand against her now tear stained cheek before meeting its inquiring stare. The black kitten mewled in reply once more and stretched its limber muscles, retracting its claws and strolling near the side of the young lady. Lilith's scarlet brows rose in question, watching the kitten soon pounce onto the bench and crawl closer to her. "....You want to keep me company, little kitten? It seems no one else wants to." Soft hands reached to touch its charred fur and caressed it gently, coaxing it enough to have the small kitten crawl inside her lap and rest itself in a comfortable ball. Despite her flowing expensive gown, materialized in the finest of silks and delicate of lace - she didn't seem to care; anything willing to keep her company felt more invaluable to her.

bare not my pride with fragile hands so stained - - - - - - - - - - Lazare strode alongside the shimmering body of aqua, the slightest hint of uneasiness laced in each step. He wore a smile and hummed to himself, enjoying the sights along the way, but he thought his innards would burst from the tension mounting within him. He had taken much care when picking the location of his first meeting. He would be bound to service his Lady for much time to come, and so atmosphere was important when making his first impression. The Frenchman had had searched about Milan for that one special place, visiting some locations two or three times a day for comparison. He had taken photos, comparing them side-by-side to compare aesthetics. He had even, upon selecting the beautiful lake, gone so far as to rehearse his entry. There was no one motion that had not been prepared beforehand, and had he the means he would arrange the scene down to the atomic level.
And he’d thrown it all out the window by being four hours late.
For the most part the Butler had tried thinking of ways to salvage the situation, but few solutions came to mind. His first Lady ever! Waiting! Unless she had gone ahead and left, which would be bad. Worse yet was if harm somehow came to her during her lingering. How horrid that would be! And as if being the cause of someone’s pain were not bad enough, what would become of his career? Would he be allowed to go on? Would he be replaced? Would they just take him over national borders and shoot him for this colossal lapse in sanity? His smile was rigid by this point. Broken, one might say. That he tried to maintain it only furthered the fact that he was in dire peril.
Azure eyes fell upon the meeting place, partially obscured by some of the undergrowth. He thought he could see someone, and she did not appear harmed. That was good! At least it was until you realize that she had been there the whole four hours, but you pick your battles. His well-rehearsed script eluded him as he grew closer, and he could feel cold sweat starting to work its way from his pours. If Lazare was anxious before, he was breaking apart now. However unlike him it was to feel this level of stress, it was upon him like the snow upon a Christmas morning. That it was against his character only made it that much harder to manage! Oh god, how would he-
What do you want?
He froze in mid-step. It took him a moment to realize that he was not being addressed, both due to his position toward her rear as well as her tone. His Lady, it seemed, had found company in another. Curious, Lazare stood upon the tips of his toes to spy some small furry animal. A cat, it seemed. He lost sight of it as it mounted the bench.
You want to keep me company, little kitten? It seems no one else wants to.
At this Lazare exhaled lightly. For whatever reason hearing his new Lady speak had comforted him, but he did not know why. If anything her words had spelt bad news for him. He took a deep breath, adjusted his tie, and ran a hand through his golden hair. Somewhat steeled for whatever may come, he put on his best smile and approached the bench. His feet took him to one side, so that he did not have to circle around completely but did not force the young woman to rotate to see him. Removing all prior signs of distress from his voice, he cheerfully uttered his first words to his future master.
“Miss Rosenthall, I presume?”

Flowers sleep; a silent lullabye,, I pray for reply, I'm ready . . . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Silk graced digits continued to stroke the small kitten's head with utmost care, not even noticing the small disturbance of brief footsteps being made in the grass at a very close distance. Not until she heard his voice call to her from a closing position, almost startling the lady from her seat. Miss Rosenthall, I presume? Lilith's silhouette jumped naturally after being considered quite paranoid of who approached her so bravely, rose colored hues glaring towards the figure of a young man standing before her. For once in her life she had never felt so taken from the appearance of a man before; his smile was unnaturally bright as if the sun blessed his charming face from the moment he was born, such beautiful blonde locks gracing her presence in the shade of newborn wheat on a summers day while his accent, apparently French, delicately pronouncing the Romanian heritage of her name in such romantic tones. Unable to cease the nervous emotions swelling inside of her, she felt warmth fill her cheeks and knew they had been discolored in a tickled pink shade - obviously overheated or terribly shy. The kitten grew bored of lying in one area without receiving attention and quickly moved to the side of the bench, contenting itself by cleaning fur. Lilith's stare never faltered as her figure never moved from its rightful sitting place, simply gawking at his open gesture. "Eyes as blue as the deep dark waters of the ocean . . .", small pink tiers opened to whisper a fading sentence, drowned by the sudden visions of memories rushing through her mind.
He was absolutely beautiful. No no, a woman normally never used such terms to describe a man in this day and age but no other words failed to compare his appearance to the young lady. She didn't understand why, even when she was small, there was such an attraction for those with blonde hair and blue eyes. Most of those she'd met with such features hailed from France and they never ceased to amuse the young Romanian heiress as they fancied her with walks and small discussions of their home country. They were so graceful when they spoke, even when they spoke in their own language, she couldn't resist falling for their unnatural way of accent. But all of this infatuation didn't come from attraction alone but from encounter; when she was a small girl of ten there was a man who briefly lived in the Rosenthall castle, he painted all of their family portraits and redecorated their home. His name was Jean Claude. Every day before setting off with her parents, he would compliment Lilith of her charming appearance. How cute she was, how charming of a dress she wore and what darling ribbons she wore in her hair. His favorite color just happened to be pink. From that moment on, she made it a habit of wearing pink whenever he came to the house and made her affectionate behavior obvious to him. What a shameful thing for a girl of her age to be feeling but she couldn't resist and dare not mention her fatal attraction to anyone, not even her parents. Despite her thoughts of thinking their relationship as some sort of affair, it was nothing more but a game to him - obviously noticing the small girls affection but playing it as a cute gesture. Eventually Jean Claude left after his work with the house was finished and left a parting gift for Lilith before he left; a large pink hair ribbon with encrusted lace patterns, the same she still wears to this day. She'd never worn anything else since then.
"Ah, I mean - what business is it of yours?!" Get a hold of yourself! A gloved arm reached out to lift herself from the bench, hands brushing invisible signs of dirt away from her Victorian dress before finally meeting his cerulean stare again. "I'm not sure who you are but didn't your parents ever teach you a thing about strangers?" Her voice withdrawn from its original feminine beauty drew short in a small insulting wisp, rose tinted brows knitting together as a sign of agitation. This boy might've been handsome to boot but didn't appear that intelligent if he had means of becoming friends with the likes of her, not even bothering to introduce himself and make it known her name was common knowledge to him. Then it dawned on her suddenly like a bright summer morning. "You aren't by any chance my assigned butler, are you?" This only infuriated the young heiress even more as both arms shouldered themselves on her hips, now growing louder with her tone of speech in a thick Romanian accent. "Because if you are, what kind of cruel and disgusting butler would leave a lady waiting here for four hours?" Every word rolled off her tongue with such delicacy and unsound anger, wondering just what would possess a young man to ignore their first Lady. There she stood underneath the kiss of a bright sun; beautiful and oh so angry in front of his looming yet handsome figure

bare not my pride with fragile hands so stained - - - - - - - - - - Lazare could not help but feel disappointed that he had startled his Lady. He had intended to be graceful in his entrance, but had not meant to cause a scare by masking his arrival. He knew nothing of Miss Lilith Rosenthall aside from her name and appearance. He was this only mildly surprised when her cheeks blossomed into the softest shade of pink. Was she the timid sort then? If so that would certainly make his job easier. From what he had seen at the school in general, young women from wealth tended to be either quiet and self-conscious or loud and selfish. The latter personality type would certainly complicate things. If Lilith were subdued, then surely caring for her would be a most pleasurable and-
What business is it of yours!?
Lazare blinked, surprised by the sudden shift. While occupied with his own thoughts the Lady had stood at some point. Though she made no effort to close the gap between then, it was still somehow intimidating. I'm not sure who you are but didn't your parents ever teach you a thing about strangers? To that the Frenchman adjusted his tie, smiling awkwardly as he attempted to explain. “Er, about that. I’m not exactly a s-”
He was cut short when she spoke up yet again, this time without much of the edge she had been throwing his way. The blond had the foresight to realize that he was on his way to being cornered with the previous line of discussion, and so the chance to properly introduce himself was seized with great vigor. “Why yes, that’s absolutely correct!” He took this chance to get back on top of things with much cheerfulness, giving the slightest bow as he presented himself. “I am Lazare Villeneuve, madame, and henceforth I will be in your ser-”
Because if you are, what kind of cruel and disgusting butler would leave a lady waiting here for four hours?
That wrathful tone came back in full force, forcing Lazare out of his bow and into a somewhat stiffer upright stance. She appeared so soft, so diminutive....and yet so terrifying! Her dialect, somehow eastern European, only served to heighten her presence. He elevated his hands as if in surrender, strained smile betraying his fearful mindset. “Ah, Miss Rosenthall, it was, uh, an accident on my part! A slip-up, yes! Just a, ah, an oversight on my part!” He laughed nervously, trying hard to think of a way out of this hole.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A slender pink brow rose with growing annoyance with her newly appointed butler, noticing all the physical proof of his lies by being late; sweating forehead, stumbling/half finished sentences and awkward disposition - it was obvious he was the "you could walk all over me" type of man, a certain type she'd never been fond of. Why did people persist in acting so weak? Actually, it wasn't just in general but in fact everywhere around the world besides Germany, Japan and of course Mother Romania. In those countries; it was considered a heresy to reveal yourself as some sort of spineless moron or a weakling born into a strong family. From the moment everyone was born, they were given strong hearts to withstand any type of pressure and hardship life may give them. Especially for a man it was up to them to become men and lead their families towards certain fame and fortune, if not complete happiness; any sign of weakness or frail attitude is not considered a taboo but a disgrace. How a weak little butler and a strong minded lady were destined to get along in the future was beyond her but every day grew more boring than the last and she'd been wishing for some entertainment as of late.
"Be quiet already." With a casual flick of her wrist along a rebellious bang of her hot pink locks, she shrugged and rose from her sitting place while the kitten ran off into a distant place. "Four hours is more than just an oversight but I'm tired of hearing to you ramble, make sure it never happens again." This Lezare might've appeared to be the man of her dreams from just physical appearance alone but it was obvious their mental intellect would surely clash over the many months and perhaps years they'd spend in this academy. Slightly shuddering against the growing cold winds passing through her dress cladding figure, both arms ensnared her lithe figure before gracing his expression with another scowl. Even though she'd always present a look of irritation or plain placid, her face still appeared in that same beautiful charm. She exhaled a small yawn and figured they should both get inside, knowing the weather was only going to grow worse from henceforth. On second thought, where was that cat? "Lezare, as my first order, I want you to find that black cat that was just sitting beside me . . .", she muttered in a feminine tone before looking to gaze into his ever lasting azure hues. "It's going to get cold and I don't want it to starve to death out here." Was he such a grand butler as all the girls had rumored and a wonderful person to get along with, as his teachers advised her? Lilith could only tell by performing this little test of endurance; having the desire to know how fast he could run and how clever he could be. "Well . . . what are you waiting for?! Go get it!"
