This love, this hate! "Is burning me away..."
Gaelle was in a bad mood; a really bad mood. She liked shopping. What other girl with her age wouldn't like to do so?! But she wasn't the usual shopper. She didn't went to stores and looked for clothes for hours and hours, she didn't liked the usual crowds when you shop and standing in the line, waiting to pay for something that some designers could pay her to wear it.
No.
Gaelle had a contract with most of Italy's designers and each piece of cloth they designed, they would make sure she received a catalog in her own house. There, she would choose what she wanted and what she didn't wanted and then, she had somebody to go pick her clothes up. Usually, it was one of her parents' assistants. But now that she had been sent to this new Academy where all girls had butlers, her parents told her to find her butler and get him to do such things as picking her clothes for her. And this was pissing her off. Gaelle Mia Ricci needed one of the dresses she ordered and she needed it for that night. But the store was pretty far and she had bought several other things in that store, which meant that, if she really went there, she would have to bring not only the dress she needed, but also all the other things she had bought. Yeah, in that point of view, she was pretty childish and used to get that done for her.
- God..., the girl sighed. The sun was high and it was getting pretty warm. But one thing she absolutely loved about her country was the weather. It was a little warmer than she expected sometimes, but still, it wasn't too hot in the Summer, but it wasn' that cold during the Winter either. Also, the ocean's temperature was just perfect. Gaelle loved a pair of high heel shoes but she was glad she had chosen some open sandals that day. Her hair wasn't tied like it was used to and for that, she was sorry about. Her neck was burning!
She had come to a decision. She was going to the store by cab, go get her clothes and then to her dorm. But she still had some time and she didn't wanted to go straight home, but she didn't wanted to wander around with a bunch of bags either. So, she decided to go for a walk in Parco Forlanini. She used to go there with her parents, but nowadays, they were too busy to even remember her birthday. Yup, that had already happen. And what was rare about this day as well was that Gaelle was walking all by herself. Usually, she had someone to escort her, but today she managed to go take a walk by herself. And she was happy for it. Of course that, if someone had come with her, she could have told them to go get her clothes and carry them around, but she wasn't that mean. It was really getting hot outside!
Her hat helped her cover her face from the rays of sun, but the heat was still there. I think I could go rest by the lake for a while... And so she did. She walked slowly, watching her surroundings. Couples walking and chatting happily, which kind of annoyed her. Old people sat on benches, just staring into the sky; she guessed they just had nothing better to do. Kids ran, laughing like she hadn't heard in a while; she missed being a children... With these thoughts on her mind, she didn't even notice that she had reached the lake. She was surprised to see that it wasn't very crowdy. But it helped her to get a little less moody. And when she saw an Ice Cream stand, she felt a even less moody.
- I want a Donatella ice cream please. She exchanged her money for the 'oh-so-wanted' ice cream and sat down in the grass by the lake. Little fishes swam around. Poor fishes... she thought. To Mia, birds were lucky. Mamals...well, she was a mammal and sometimes she was happy, other times, she felt pretty miserable. But fishes...oh poor fishes, Gaelle thought. Especially these ones. They spent their entire lives in the same lake, knowing nothing but that lake. Not to mention that they weren't able to see the amazing things the world had to offer. Especially that lovely dress that was waiting for her...
She was licking her ice cream one more time when she noticed a little kid running. But then he fell and started crying. Gaelle thought that kids crying were a real bother. But this one wasn't bothering her in a 'wrong' way; she was worried about him. What if he got really hurt?! Unlike what many people thought, Gaelle still had a heart, so she got up and walked toward the kid. She smiled and helped him getting up, wiping some of his fresh tears. But the kid still seemed sad. The pink haired girl looked around, to find herself wondering what she was looking for. And then she gave him her ice cream. The boy looked at her, surprised, but then smiled. How she missed one of those smiles only kids can give us. - Thank you! And he was of.
She hadn't felt this good in such a long time. If she had one or two of her maids with her, this wouldn't have happened. So yeah, she kind of blamed her maids for her attitude sometimes. After all, she was used to get everything done for her, not that she wasn't able to do such trivial things, such as going to a coffee shop and get her some piece of cake. She glanced at her watch. 4.30 p.m. The shop closed at 6 p.m., so, for now, she had nothing else to worry about expect for relaxing...and making sure no paparazzi was around, or else she would have to make some sort of escape. She hated paparazzi.
It goes on endlessly... Tagged Anasi Word count 1003 o.O Notes Finished...wow I never expected these much words ^^; Listening to Believe by Cher =P ^^

You Know It Will Always It was a little hot out, but he wasn't about to complain. He liked sunny days, and if it had to come with the heat he would deal with it. He couldn't bear the cold. He didn't remember it himself, but his parents often told him about the first time he had encountered snow. Anansi was four when he experienced his first Canadian winter. His parents thought he should get out and enjoy the stuff, but one step in the snow and he had started shrieking. Ever since then he had been anti-cold. So what if his skin got a little scorched in the sun? At least it was better than putting up with the cold. He had absolutely nothing to do, so Anansi figured he should get outside and find something to do before his parents found something for him. They had a tendency of calling him up and making him return to the house to do chores. It didn't matter that he was eighteen now, they still viewed him as their little servant. Didn't they realize they had to leave him alone now? He was busy...well, being someone else's servant. When he turned eighteen he had been thrilled to be released from their legal reign over him, and surprisingly, just as thrilled to become a butler for some girl. Somehow it just seemed different, like an adventure. He wanted to make her happy, he wanted to really do his best. But, instead of going to Stella Fiore Academy to try and find her, he was wasting his time at a park. Hey, it had a nice view of the river. He liked Parco Forlanini, it was an excellent place to cool off and watch people. He had been known to run through the fountains with only his shorts on when the park wasn't as full as it was today. Instead of frightening the poor park-goers, he restricted today's visit to less fun activities. At least there was an ice cream stand nearby. Anansi made his way over to the stand, pleased to see that the line was quite short. He waited patiently for his turn, and was content to watch the people around him for entertainment. It was true that if he were ever caught watching other people, they'd probably get the wrong idea. It wasn't that Anansi was a pervert, he just found other people interesting. For instance, right now he had a nice view of a little scene taking place. There was a short little thing, a brown-haired boy, running down the sidewalk. At the rate he was going, it was fairly obvious what was about to happen. Anansi watched, although he was prepared to go help the kid if anything bad happened. Just as he expected, the boy crash landed on the ground and started sobbing, but before Anansi could stray very far from the line he was in, the boy received help. The boy's savior was a girl who appeared to be around Anansi's age. She was dressed in proper summer attire, sweet and simple. Just as she handed the boy her ice cream, the person in front of him in line left. He turned his attention to the cashier, asking for and soon receiving a Spongebob-shaped ice cream bar. If he was going to buy ice cream at a park, why not make it fun? As he was about to take a bite out of Spongebob's head, his thoughts returned to the pink-haired girl who had offered her ice cream to the young boy. If he were really sweet, he'd do the same for her. Anansi approached the girl, who, fortunately, had not strayed very far yet. "Well hello there." he said amiably, not bothering himself with the thought that perhaps the girl didn't want to be bothered. He held his ice cream up by its thin popsicle stick so it would be displayed for the world. "The ice cream is really good here, I'm so glad I got myself some. It's such a hot day too, it's sure a good thing I have something to cool myself off with." Anansi spoke in a carefree manner, as if he didn't realize he was blatantly teasing the poor stranger. She was kind of cute, and obviously a wonderful soul, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to leave her alone. He was bored and it wasn't late enough to go home for dinner yet, so he needed something to do. Just Be Me

Can you see that I am human I am breathing! "But you don't give a damn..."
Gaelle found that she was still kind of smiling as she watched the boy left. But the smile didn't last long, since the boy began running again. 'Great, just keep running until you fall again!' And to think that she had offered him her ice cream...money was no problem for her, but it was his attitude. I mean, he had just felt, a complete stranger had helped him and gave him her ice cream and still, there he was, off and running again! She couldn't really remember how it felt like being a child, but most of the kids in the park were running and playing, so she supposed that was what kids do; run and play.
Gaelle glanced around her, watching if there was any hidden camera. Thanks to her name, Ricci, Gaelle was known throw Italy in the world of fashion, so, ever since she was a small kid, she had to be well dressed and look good on every photo. Even if she was just going walk her dog, she had to look good. Who knew who she could encounter? And from that habit, her love for fashion flourished.
4.53 p.m. The girl sighed. She still had plenty of time left before going to the store. And she was actually thinking in getting another ice cream. Donatella was her favorite and she had barely ate any of her previous ice cream. She loved Donatella ice cream. Truth to be said, Gaelle liked almost anything sweet and thankfully, her metabolism was good enough to prevent her from getting extra pounds from everything she ate. When her mother was around home, she made sure Gaelle only ate biological food and light food. Having pizza or a burger with her friends was something that happened so rarely that was a reason for the pinkete to be thrilled about. But she had to admit that, thanks to their chef, her biological and light food was pretty damn good as well. Thinking in food made her look at the ice cream stand one more time. There was only one boy in the line, so why not to get her another ice cream? After all, she barely ate the other one. And this time, she didn't intend on giving it to anyone else.
After some time pondering if she should or shouldn't get herself another ice cream, a boy approached her. As she looked at him, she noticed he had pink eyes. She had never seen anyone with pink eyes. Well, she had pink hair though. This boy seemed to be around her age and she could only tell that by looking at his features because, as to his height, he was quite small. Gaelle, who had already modeled, was a few centimeters taller than him, she guessed. 'Maybe he isn't really coming in my direction...I hope not, I mean, look at those clothes! I can't be seen talking with someone who dresses like that!' She pretended like she didn't notice him coming toward her and started walking toward the ice cream stand. - Well hello there Well, it seemed that he really was coming toward Gaelle. And she wasn't going to walk away just because of the way he was dressed, even though she should. If her mother ever saw this! But maybe the boy really had nothing else to wear. Eck, who knew! - Oh, hello. The pink haired girl said, smiling a little. She didn't knew him...did she? Maybe he knew who she was. That could be troubling... The boy was holding a Spongebob-shaped ice cream. Personally, she didn't liked that one very much, but she had seen several people eating it, so it couldn't be that bad. She just didn't like it very much. - The ice cream is really good here, I'm so glad I got myself some. It's such a hot day too, it's sure a good thing I have something to cool myself off with. Great, he must have seen the scene with the kid and took some sort of picture and now he wanted to sell it somewhere. And was he actually teasing her? A boy she never knew, was teasing Gaelle Mia Ricci?! This was enough to trigger whatever Gaelle was holding. - Look, I don't really know who you are but you must know who I am. If you took any photograph I suggest you to give it to me. I have money if you want it, just don't show it to anyone. And I mean anyone. But what if the boy was really just being nice?..
Nah! Gaelle couldn't really trust just anyone, especially this kid she had never seen. She been betrayed several times by some of her own friends, this was no different. She looked at him one more time. His pink eyes reflected something bright; it almost looked like she was looking directly to his personality and it was bright. - So, what's it going to be? And don't tell me you're just being friendly, I'm not buying it. Maybe she was being a bit harsh and rude, but she was used to play defense, so this was Gaelle putting her mask on.
5.04 p.m. Ok, she still had some time, but she really wanted to eat an ice cream before she left!

I'm So Hot For Her Anansi didn't notice the girl's attempts to get away before he ever started speaking. Not that it would have helped her any had he noticed, he would still have hunted her down and forced her into some idiotic conversation. No, the poor girl was doomed from the moment Anansi saw her. He was bored and she was conveniently placed close by. Because he didn't know she had no intention of talking to him, he took her friendly smile and greeting as sincere. He was glad she seemed to be kind, sometimes messing with people could get dangerous. You never knew who was going to end up to have serious anger issues or who would be willing to play along. Oh, but one should never judge a book by its cover. The slender girl had quite the interesting reaction. Now it was Anansi who was the victim (if he could be called that). Photographs? What photographs? Did she think he was a stalker? Or maybe she thought he was someone else. No, she had already admitted she didn't know him. What was going on? "Um..." Was there really any better response to that? What intrigued him most was that she thought he had a photo that for some reason would be bad. Maybe she had been running around naked in the park and he had only just missed it. So far she really didn't seem all that bad, what could she possibly have to hide? Gah! And now she was forcing him to answer. What was he supposed to say!? The pink-haired girl did have a point, he wasn't being friendly. He wasn't trying to be mean either though he was just trying to bug her, he supposed. Not that it seemed like that was what the girl was talking about. She was accusing him of something, but how could he defend himself if he didn't know what he was being accused of? Life was confusing. Perhaps he should learn to just leave people alone next time. Anansi blushed a little, wondering how he was going to explain himself. "I uh..I don't know what you're talking about, I'm sorry." he said with a nervous laugh. Hopefully the stranger wouldn't think he was just lying to cover up whatever she thought he had been doing. "To be honest, I was just bothering you for the heck of it, I don't know anything about photographs." He scratched the back of his neck without realizing he was doing it, he was getting a little nervous. "But uh..I'll get you an ice cream of your very own to make it up to you!" Now Anansi was feeling confident again, he had a plan. The girl seemed awfully delicate, perhaps she was one of those girls that didn't eat. Maybe she had been giving that ice cream to that little boy because she didn't think she could afford the calories. Aw, that was silly. She probably just did it out of the goodness of her heart. After all, who didn't find little kids adorable? "And while we're at it, you can tell me all about these photos. Surely you must be very important to have blackmail floating around." He was eager to know more about it, what if she was a spy! Maybe he had stumbled into some complex plot like in the movies, and he would be the one to solve the crime and save the day. That, or she'd just tell him to mind his own business. Either way, it was worth a try. And She's So Cold Notes Of course it's good enough! Sorry for the wait. >.<

If you play, play for keeps! "Take the gun and count to three..."
Pink eyes. Who the hell did have pink eyes?! Well, she had pink hair, but she had seen some girls with pink hair before. but pink eyes?! And a guy! Not that his eyes weren't pretty, they were. It was just plain awkward. This boy had rather dark hair and then, pink eyes! Gaelle wasn't one to speak, since she was kind of the opposite. She had pink hair and hazel eyes. Because of his features and his surprised and confused expression, Gaelle couldn't really think this kid had something against her. But what if he wasn't a photographer but something like that who just wanted to take advantage of her family? Yeah, she was a little paranoid about it, but that was because it had happened several times before. Besides, this whole scene with the boy wasn't helping her mood at all. In fact, it was getting a bit worse as the minutes passed. She wanted that ice cream and she wanted her dress!
And then he blushed. Some guys looked like fools by blushing but this one was plain cute! Mia found herself blushing a bit also about her thoughts. Maybe the poor boy really didn't had anything to do with her or her family. But she couldn't show her weak point now. "I uh..I don't know what you're talking about, I'm sorry." She crossed her arms, pretending to be upset and that she didn't believed one word he was saying. Well, she was upset, but she wasn't that much as it seemed in her face. She wanted to hear the rest of the explanation, if he had one. "To be honest, I was just bothering you for the heck of it, I don't know anything about photographs." So he was bothering her just for 'the heck of it'?! didn't he knew who she was?! This was somewhat an insult to the pink haired girl. But on the good side, he seemed to be saying the truth about the picture. And by scratching the back of his head, he was clearly telling her he was nervous. Poor boy, he really seemed innocent. Now Gaelle was starting to feel a little bad. "But uh..I'll get you an ice cream of your very own to make it up to you!" Ok, that was talking! Not that she couldn't afford it; she could even buy the ice-cream stand if she wanted to and she should have more money than the guy with pink eyes in front of her, but she thought that refusing would be rude. And so she relaxed and smiled. - Ok then. And sorry about that earlier. For a moment I just thought you could be some sort of paparazzi or something. Silly me! And she playfully stick her tongue out. She wasn't usually childish but this time, and because she would probably never see this guy ever again, maybe she could act a little childish around him. As long as he didn't have a camera around.
She was about to start walking to get her new ice-cream when the boy spoke again and so, she turned her attention to him once more. "And while we're at it, you can tell me all about these photos. Surely you must be very important to have blackmail floating around." She looked at him with a surprised face. Maybe he did knew who she was and was just trying to be friends with her so he could get to her family! And she was really protective over her family! Gaelle always suspected of these sort of thing and right now, she didn't knew what to say. So she just shrugged it of. - Ah it was just me being a little paranoid, nothing much really. Now, I want a Donatella please! Well, she was the typical rich girl, she figured in time. Used to get things done, even if she didn't liked it being like that all the time, and used to get everything material she desired. Even if it meant coming from a guy she never met.
5.09 p.m. Eh, she still had some time left.
