extra info!
Truth be told, Santa’s original name was Suzuki, Izumi, but she was forced to change that lovely name or at lease her surname was forced to be changed. Her mother did not want any connection with the poor girl. No… not at all since it was most unsuitable for a famous Geisha to bear a child and definitely out of wedlock… A definitely big no-no. Wait- this doesn’t make sense right? Well then let go to the beginning to all of this mess…
Rewind back to where it was happy-hour…
It was a cold rainy New Year Day back in the late 80s. It was in the Gion District of Kyoto, Japan and the not so foreign cry of a newborn was heard… Everybody thought perhaps an random whore who tried to passed herself as a geiko or a geisha gave birth to a bastard child… but actually that’s not the case… at least not for this bastard child. Who would have believe her story though? Who in the great district of Gion would want to believe that their greatest and beloved treasure of that decade had a child out of wedlock? Yes I know, this isn’t making sense, so let me clear this up for you. Santa Izumi Alcheri was actually once Suzuki, Izumi who was the bastard child of Suzuki, Saiyuri, Gion’s top Geisha (even though geikos are more common in that district, she had the talent to become a full fledge Geisha)… but somehow that woman was able to convince everybody
Let go forward, just for a little bit
Izumi was now ten and a maid to Saiyuri, her should be mother… and by god her life was a log sinking in a mud hole and sinking slowly in agony. Apparently Saiyuri’s hormone during the pregnancy never quiet settled back down and became very paranoid… with Izumi. Blame and punishments had became a daily routine for the young child… at lease till her so called mother snapped on that certain day. It was mid-afternoon and there was a guest downstairs talking to the head in charge of the house along with Saiyuri. Izumi stayed away and out of site, at least until she was called down to help. The guest noticed the young child and made a comment about how similar her features were to Saiyuri. This of course caused some tension to rise into the air… It wasn’t till later on that night till Saiyuki lost her nerves and went all out on the poor girl. First it was slaps and names, then a shove to a wall with a choking grips, and then… another shove into a small tub of water. Saiyuri held Izumi’s head in the shallow water for a good minute or two until someone pulled the screaming madwoman away… It was then decided that Izumi was to be taken away… they chose the money-maker over a scared little girl…
Luckily the guest from earlier before was kind enough to take Izumi in as his own. He was an Italian businessman with a wife, but no child. So after some paperwork and legalization, Suzuki, Izumi was now Santo Izumi Alcheri…[/ul]
