( AND WHEN YOU AREN'T FEELING VERY CHEERFUL )call me! i'll come as soon as possible( I'M YOUR FRIEND ALWAYS )• • • • • • • • • Classes had ended about an hour ago, and in between that time Kasumi changed into something more comfortable, grabbed something quick to eat, and headed over to the gardens with her backpack. She had plenty of homework and didn't want to stay inside to do it all. It was so boring in there all by herself and mostly because she was still butlerless! She decided not to make a complaint just yet since she'd feel selfish, wanting someone to come along and clean up and cook her food and whatnot. But the sole purpose she wanted her butler was so she wouldn't be as lonely and bored. Was that too much to ask for?
On the way to the nearest gazebo, her large brown eyes gazed carefully over the variety of flowers and large trees. Exactly how big were these gardens? She stopped suddenly in her tracks at the sight of a butterfly, wings of gradient blue and black markings. “Ah,” she hummed in amusement. It moved languidly at first, ducking below for its legs to skim across the brush then went to quickly flutter past the girl to the opposite side. The butterfly disappeared behind a tree somewhere when Kasumi started on her way again, hands clutching onto the straps of her Pokémon backpack.
She was seated and moved to set everything up, her textbook and notebook atop of the table, backpack beside her on the seat. A pencil was soon in hand and she went to work, though a little reluctantly. Sitting still and working wasn't exactly her forte.
A couple breaks later, Kasumi tossed her pencil down. “Boy, it sure is empty out here. Where is everyone?” she mused aloud before taking a look around. It seemed to be just her and nature today. She shrugged and went to stretch in her seat. Looking back down to her papers she sighed and reached for the pencil, only to tap it against her chin in deep thought. “I don't like this problem very much,” she muttered with a pout. “There's gotta be someone around here besides me!” Who could hopefully help. And if not, then just to talk to.
Her attention span toward homework was beginning to fade now; besides, she could always finish it later. Turning in her seat halfway to be able to look all the way around, Kasumi's eyes were hopeful. She suddenly went to pack up her things and zipped her bookbag, tossing the straps over her shoulders. She left the gazebo and continued further down. Maybe there was someone deeper down in the gardens? “Hellooo? Anyone down there?”

The showtime of your unknown consciousness I want to cry, "It is definitely not a dream." ----------------------------------- It was finally the end of the day, a time where student can finally do a few things they wanted, provided they did not have too much homework to accomplish. Considering how sadistic some of the instructors could be, it was not much of a surprise if the ladies had quite an amount of paper works to accomplish. If there was one thing Leonzio was thankful for, it was the fact that he was not in the same shoes as his lady, instead able to just simply watch her as she does her work…Or maybe not. Based on some of their terms, he was not supposed to get in her way at all, the male deciding to leave her in peace to finish her work since he may actually serve more as a distraction if he stayed there. He knew his lady well enough anyway, and if she did need him, she could simple call on him. On the mean time, he was entitled to some leisure time for himself.
There he was now, the azure haired male basking in the midst of the natural surroundings of the academy. It was indeed a good place to go to when one wanted to try relaxing somewhere with a great scene, yet not walk as far as the park. It was a little paradise built within the confines of an instructional facility, a place students can take a load off or even work at when the dorm room was inadequate for them. Still, there was something rather strange about the garden on that day, one that made him feel rather perplexed at the reason why. The weather was alright really; albeit, a little chilly, yet there was barely anyone right now hanging around in the area. Still, as strange as it seemed, it was not much of a problem for him. He liked it being a little peaceful and secluded, allowing him to maybe relax a bit better since there won’t be many people making noise. It was just right for him to roam around freely, unhindered by anything that may disturb his moment of peace.
Still, his line of thought was a little flawed there, not realizing that it was still possible for one catch his attention.
“Hm? Did I just hear a voice?” he said as he paused for a moment, wondering if the garden was playing tricks on his ears. He was pretty deep inside, and so far, he has not seen a single soul in the area. He could have sworn he heard someone though; a young girl’s voice that was coming from somewhere in the area. He moved along some more though believe it was just his imagination, only to stop again when he heard the voice speak out in a clearer tone. He blinked a few times while moving in the direction it came from, peeking over to one of the resting areas only to see a little girl seated there. “Uh…You lost or something, kid?” he said, assuming that the kid might have gotten in somehow, perhaps even being the younger sister of someone there. Little did he know, that girl was actually a student. ----------------------------------- The only thing here is my heart A black hole of endless wishes. ( AND WHEN YOU AREN'T FEELING VERY CHEERFUL )call me! i'll come as soon as possible( I'M YOUR FRIEND ALWAYS )• • • • • • • • • Eventually, though sooner than she thought, the girl had stopped before reaching the deeper parts of the garden having decided it was a waste of time. Today was obviously very much empty. Why, though? She couldn't say for sure. Kasumi wasn't exactly a frequent garden visitor so she wasn't sure how often others were around, though she suspected more than this. With a huff of annoyance and defeat the girl spun around on her heels and headed back for the gazebo she rested in earlier, making herself comfortable a second time and unpacking the same things. Might as well continue working...
When the textbooks and notebooks and writing utensils were back out on the table Kasumi didn't find herself working very much this time, especially since she'd ran into that horrible, horrible problem she hated earlier and even more of them. “Algebra's dumb,” she grumbled, using the lead of her mechanical pencil against the next clean sheet of paper to doodle. Looks like this would be the second break in a row. Halfway through her little drawing of a Golduck, Kasumi tapped thoughtfully at her chin with the pencil. “Y'know, I could just start on English homework.” That sounded like the smart thing to do.
Before she could turn to another new sheet of paper, the sound of a male voice nearby surprised her. She almost jumped in her seat, glancing over to the unfamiliar, blue-haired butler and pulling on a big smile. Finally! Civilization! Her smile quickly turned into a strange expression at the man's inquiry though, an eyebrow raised and her hands at her hips. “Kid? Lost?” she repeated, though wasn't as offended as she could've been. “No, silly! I'm a student here.” Her voice was lighthearted as her smile softened, but she sighed dramatically. “It's okay, I'm used to people calling me a little kid. But next time, I won't let it go so easily!” she warned with a small, non-threatening fist, a giggle following her words to show she was only kidding.
“Well since it seems like you're the only other person out here besides me, why don't you sit down for a bit? Or maybe just at least take a look at this problem for me?” she asked with a very big hopeful smile. Did he even know Algebra well enough to help? Kasumi didn't care; she could use all the help she could get. But were butlers even allowed to 'intrude' on their lady's academic learning? Technically they weren't lady and butler anyway but she didn't care about that either, if it was permitted or not. Besides it was just one itty-bitty problem.

The showtime of your unknown consciousness I want to cry, "It is definitely not a dream." ----------------------------------- Now this situation was truly a surprise to him, not really understanding why there was such a little girl in the school grounds. He did know that security at the gates was rather tight and that no one can easily enter the premises without gaining permission; unless, she was perhaps the daughter of one of the teachers or staff there. It was certainly a first though, never before actually seeing someone so young within the grounds of Stella Fiore. It was truly a strange coincidental meeting, and naturally he would think the child might be lost, if not is just exploring around the school without a guardian to guide her through the premises. Seriously though, who in their right mind would leave a child like her alone? Just seeing her there reminded him a bit of himself when he was younger, an orphan left alone in the world if not for the orphanage. For now, he wanted to try helping the kid if need be.
Surprisingly, the male was really assuming a little too much, his face showing a sort of blank expression on it hearing her words.
“You’re a…student here?” he inquired as he carried a puzzled and somewhat dumbfounded expression on his face. It was certain a surprise to hear such for from a little girl, and as he tried to rationalize what she said, he suddenly came to another conclusion. Hm…Maybe this kid is just pretending to be a student here. Yeah…Maybe playing ‘make believe’ or something since she is in the school. Might as well play along then. Despite this way of thinking, it never really occurred to the male that she was actually speaking the truth. After all, who would easily believe someone like her was really enrolled there, much more older than she appears to be. A common mistake indeed, one of which Leonzio had also made.
He blinks a bit as he moves to sit beside her in response to her invitation, looking over at what she was working on. Seeing the books laid out in front of him, his eyes widened to see the same materials his lady also studied. Why someone her age was even attempting to answer those questions was beyond him, but she was either a genius or just playing around, so he tried reasoning out in that head of his. A kid doing algebra…It was rather cute seeing her try, but maybe something would have been more suitable for her to solve. Still, there was no sin in trying to help her answer those questions, the male studying them a bit before taking a pencil in hand. “This is actually a pretty simple one. All you need to do is…” he started writing down the equation for her, slow trying to simplify the explanation enough for her to hopefully understand. He did find basic subjects like that pretty easy really, much more than doing more butler related training. ----------------------------------- The only thing here is my heart A black hole of endless wishes. ( AND WHEN YOU AREN'T FEELING VERY CHEERFUL )call me! i'll come as soon as possible( I'M YOUR FRIEND ALWAYS )• • • • • • • • • Was it really that hard to believe she was older than ten? Kasumi raised an eyebrow at the man as he gave her a disbelieving look but she decided to ignore it this time. He'd have to believe her eventually. She was a little surprised when he accepted the invitation, going to sit beside her and help. His constant lack of expression, besides the surprised one he gave when Kasumi said she wasn't a kid, made him seem a little intimidating, like he wouldn't be the type to help others but she was wrong. And she couldn't help but feel a smile of triumph form on her lips.
The unnamed man looked over the problem, picked up a pencil, and went to work on explaining in a flash. She was amazed at how calm he was, as if he'd been doing math problems like these all his life! How lucky she was to have ran into him seconds ago. Leaning in closer to watch what he was doing better, Kasumi looked back and forth from the paper and to him a few times, taking this opportunity to examine him up close. What a cutie, she almost said aloud, turning her attention back to the numbers and letters on the page. It was a pretty quick explanation so it seemed Leonzio had finished just as soon as he started.
“Wooow.” Kasumi blinked. “Why are you butlering when you could be teaching!” She shook at his arm gently, tending to show her excitement through touching. “It became a million times easier when you explained it. Thanks so much, mister...” She paused, her enthusiastic voice and smile trailing off when she realized she didn't know his name. “Um...” Glancing up to him, her smile, of course, returned as she waited to be enlightened.

The showtime of your unknown consciousness I want to cry, "It is definitely not a dream." ----------------------------------- It seriously was strange, the azure haired male actually trying to teach a key (?) how to answer an algebra question that was supposed to be beyond her. Still, it was actually entertaining for him, a little nice that he was actually given to chance to help someone in doing their or her older sister’s homework. He continued to write it down as simple as possible, using a few shortcuts to make the answer come out easily for a grade school to probably comprehend. Not that it was really easy for him trying to not complicate it. The problem just was that simple, though not easily understood at first glance. Still, it would be amusing seeing this girl teach whoever it was that really own the books.
Honestly, he was an ignorant idiot…
“Hope that made things easier to understand for you,” he said as he put the pencil back down on the table, the male smiling a bit as he was feeling a small sense of accomplishment, feeling glad that he was able to help a kid (?) in solving such a problem. If only his lady would rely on him more on those things, it would probably make his life as a butler all the more rewarding. Alas, she seemed capable enough on her own, or so she seemed to be whenever he wanted to offer his help to her. She wasn’t very honest with herself though, a stubborn girl yet one he still admired and loved. Not that he was any different, a trait that made of them rather suitable for one another.
He laughed a little hearing the young lady’s statement, feeling a little flattered by it even though it was a strange thing to say. Him be a teacher rather than a butler? He never really considered it since he was rather careless, probably becoming more like a clown in front of his students. Still, he blinked a bit when she suddenly stopped at ‘mister’, making him feel a little older than he really was. Sure he was probably several years older than her, but ‘mister’ was pushing it a little. “It’s Leonzio, and it was no problem at all,” he said with a friendly smile on his face, “Do drop the ‘mister’ though. I’m not that old, kid.” ----------------------------------- The only thing here is my heart A black hole of endless wishes.
