( SOMEDAY LET'S COME BACK AGAIN )to this place( TO THOSE SEPIA COLORED DAYS )• • • • • • • She sighed, looking up at the ceiling through half-lidded eyes. It was so quiet—well, aside from the large fan on low hanging above—and she didn't like it. Another day without a butler, without company. When would they finally assign her one? Shifting underneath her cozy Pokémon covers, Kasumi glanced to the digital clock on the nightstand: 2:32pm. Nap time was over. She yawned and reluctantly sat up upon remembering Caroline, that she was coming over soon. Kasumi got out of bed, already dressed in her daytime clothes since she'd woken up earlier, and went to fix something quick to eat.
“Hmm...” She looked deep in thought as she glanced throughout the refrigerator. There wasn't a lot but it was better than nothing. “How about... a sandwich!” It was simple and she had all the ingredients. She grabbed the bread from the pantry and the things from the fridge and went to work. When three o'clock finally rolled around, Kasumi was full and happy and in the middle of playing with her DS. “Ohmygosh! A Palkia! What a cutie,” she cooed, pressing the screen with the stylus carefully. “And you're aaaall mine.” A loud knock at the door broke her concentration and she nearly fell over, quickly straightening up on her bed.
“Just a minute, Caroline!” Kasumi called from her room, a big smile on her face. She turned off the game, placed the stylus in its compartment, and set the DS on the dresser. Rushing for the front door she unlocked and opened it in a flash, practically throwing her arms around her friend. “Miss Caroline strikes again to save Kasumi from boredom!”

Donning on a pair of homemade wings that glittered with the smallest movement and a frilly tutu, Caroline walked down the halls with an air that only a few could carry while looking so foolish. But, then again, this outfit hasn’t been the worst thing she’s ever worn, so the occasional stare and questioning glace went by unchecked.
This blossoming friendship with Kasumi still felt new to Caroline. Yet, even as she wandered her way to her friend’s place, her body seemed to move on its own. Her feet already walking a path memorized by many visits. This thought caused a humourous grin to spread across her lips. Kasumi has been her first real friendship since Caroline has landed on Italy. Even though she missed her friends and family back home terribly, that pain was easily softened by the fact that she now has someone to love and laugh with dearly here as well.
Pivoting on her heel, Caroline stopped before a large wooden door- well, large to her- and knocked loudly. As she waited for the door to open, she pulled out a magic wand from the large bag she was carrying at her side.
“Miss Caroline strikes again to save Kasumi from boredom!”
Caroline gave a light chuckle as she was hugged. It was always nice to know that you’re welcomed. “Just your fairy godmother doing her job.” She dramatically sighed, waving her wand with one hand and placing a tiara on Kasumi’s head with another. After that, Caroline, in her glittery-ness, floated past her friend and placed her bag on a table. She unzipped it carefully and rummaged through it’s contents for a bit before whipping out a hat with a red ribbon tied around it. She tossed it gently to Kasumi before offering an explanation as she returned to searching through her bag. “I saw it on the way over. It screamed ‘Kasumi’ so I got it. Enjoy!” It was a hat of a mudkip; Orange cheeks and all.
Caroline pulled out a bag of popcorn- you know, the ones you cook over a burner?- and made a beeline for the kitchen. There’s no better way to start off a day of crazy fun then with a bag of shared popcorn. “So, madame Kasumi.” The girl in the glittery wings and tutu called, “what shall we do today?”
