Once he makes friends with you you've basically got a friend for life.
&protective of friends and loved ones.
He'll stand up to just about anyone to protect his friends; he takes it seriously when someone messes with a buddy, joking or not.

On bad days Kyou can be cruelly indifferent, and certain kinds of people bring this out in him. He can stand and easily watch some punk get shanked across the street without feeling the slightest tinge of emotion about it.
&short tempered.
Sometimes it's hard to crack his shell but most of the time if you say something wrong he'll get angry. Sometimes he can't take jokes because of his short temper, it's like walking on already cracked eggshells at times.
&likes fighting.
He's a fighter at heart and will take on anyone; he's got guts and balls to make up ten men. You'll often see him with cuts and bruises everywhere, and when he's in the mood he'll fight several times in one day.
&insomniac.
Kyou can't sleep most of the time or he either gets an hour or two here and there; this doesn't help his mood and short temper most of the time and is the cause of him having a day job and a night job.
&stubborn.
You could say Kyou is a little stuck in his own ways and doesn't give into change without a good fight. He's had the same jobs for a few years now, and despite urging from friends and family, he doesn't change his attitude or opinions.
&unforgiving.
A little contradicting here, but it's the truth. Kyou has the ability to easily forgive, but sometimes he doesn't. If you hurt a loved one he will hold a grudge and hate you till you die.

Kyou has a year old german shepard-golden retriever mix and a young half wolf half malamute puppy.

He carries around a black ipod to drown out noise when he's in a really bad mood and to help himself relax after a hard day.

You will never see this man either not chewing gum or without a pack of some. One because he loves sweet things and gum lasts forever and two because he's trying to stop smoking and gum is his cure.

A nice leather wallet with a chain constantly attached to a belt loop. Pickpockets beware.
&pocket knife.
He carries a very light-weight and sturdy pocket knife in his front pocket for those fights that turn nasty and usually just for self-defense, but he has no qualms about using it.

Dark brown, almost black hair, gorgeous blue eyes; he's tall, but lean, but also very well muscled under his feminine appearance. His hair is just long enough to put up into an often sloppy ponytail to get it out of his face.
He usually sports two main outfits; his bar tender uniform and for the rest of the time casual outerwear, but he does switch it up every now and then. He always wears jeans with converses/boots, but he changes shirts and jackets all the time.
His work uniform consists of a vest in his bar's colors, a nice white work shirt under that and black slacks. At work he wears his hair up in a messy ponytail, but he wears it up a lot.

He goes by Kyou at his jobs and with strangers, Michi and Ichi are reserved for good friends and family.

Kyou has a soft spot for friends and family, children, animals, and the defenseless. While tending the bar he acts like a complete hardass but catch him off work and he'll either be playing with his dogs, children, or helping out around the neighborhood. It'd be easy to take him as a pushover if you happened to catch him like this.
When he's chilling you can spot him eating a sweet or two or drinking sweet tea or hot chocolate depending on his mood. He really loves sweets and a good way to win him over is to give him a cookie.

So it's been said that he'd a bar tender, but what's with the entertainer part? He can do party tricks with drinks and often puts on a show for people when he's serving them up. He's very skilled and hasn't broken a glass in his three years of entertaining. It also wouldn't be surprising him pulling bouncer duty every now and then.
He owns his own pet shop and is there for hours on end during the day; it's probably the most well-kept pet shop around and his animals are the best of the best. But he's very meticulous about finding good owners for his animals and wont sell to just anyone.
history. Kyou was born in Japan but raised in England where he met and made quick friends with a child named Blake before he moved back to Japan for several years. He moved to Italy looking for a much needed change of scenery, much to his own reluctance, and has been here for three years. He doesn't talk about his past much and refuses to do so with just about anyone, just because he's a somewhat secretive guy.
