Nick, like many boys here, was born into a family with a legacy of professional butlers. His father and grandfather had been top class Butlers and his older brother was quickly ascending the ranks. His mother had even been a former lady herself. Like most legacy families, Nick's was rather affluent and well-known in their area. Nick grew up in complete comfort and recieved some of the best training that a future Butler can recieve.
However, the boy was also very sheltered. He was home schooled up until this year, when he would start serving his Lady for the first time. His older brother and cousins, who he was quite close to, were also very protective of him. Because of this, Nick is rather naive when it comes to the world. This is not to say that he is easily taken advantage of, however, his friendliness and optimism make it hard for him to see the evil in people.[/ul]
